Magnetic Recording History – Oral Histories by Dave Morton

When I was working on my dissertation in the early 90s, and continuing on for a few years after that, I recorded a group of interviews with people in the industry to use as source material. After letting them sit in a box for decades (and after apparently losing a few), I have decided to post them here. I have a dozen or so and I’ll be uploading them as I finish transcribing them.

One note on the transcriptions: these were all done using voice recognition software and minimally edited. I apologize for the errors.
